Mottled Gerbils At Black Wolf Clan

BWC's Painted Phantom

Nickname: Phantom
Color: Black Pied Male
Markings: Unusual half-whitened face
Bred by: Larry of Gerbilstrong in OH
Genetics: aa CC Ee Gg P* Spsp

Parents:
  Rain (Grey Agouti M) x
  Painted Desert (Pied DEH F)

Notes:   The extended white over Phantom's eye was caused by an extension of the white under his jaw and maybe from the fact that his mother was a DEH, which carries high white undersides already. Despite many different pairings, his unique markings were never reproduced and only resulted in pied pups.

BWC's Lost Treasure

Mottled Siamese M
Genetics: aa cbch E* G* P* Spsp

BWC's Piccasso's Jewel

Nickname: Jewel
DOB: Summer 2002
Mottled Siamese F
Genetics: aa cbch E* G* P* Spsp

Trey & Jewel's Parents:
  Agememnon (Siamese M) x

  Cly (Black Pied F),
      a granddaughter of
      Piccasso and Angelina

Notes:   Trey and Jewel were littermates and were born in the summer of 2002. They carry their grandfather's heavy spotting. Trey was paired with Ellie, a pied topaz bred by me from a pied siamese from Janet and Renee, a pied agouti female.

Jewel was paired with Ryan, a mottled black son of Cassie and Apollo, also mottled blacks, who surprised me with a DPP lilac Thayna in the same litter as Ryan.

BWC's Tigger's Gold

Nickname: Tigger
Color: Mottled Yellow Fox M
Genetics: Aa CC ee G* pp Spsp

Parents:
Roo (Pied Agouti M) from OH x
Kanga (Pied Agouti F) from OH

Notes:   Tigger was a surprise, the only argente or red-eyed pup born to this pair. He was born in summer of 2002, bred by me, with only a light orange stripe over his back on a white body. Eventually the orange came in over his back, although the white remained extended over his eyes and sides. His mate was a DPP lilac, making quite a contrasting couple.
