Notes: Silver is a full brother to Jaye and like her, is an extreme mottled colorpoint slate. Some might call him a “high white” due to the higher percentage of white in his coat in contrast to the lightly roaned colorpoint slate pattern down his back. He also has color and “points” on his tail, around his ears, and face. “High white” is a term coined by some breeders in the NGS and has only recently begun to show up in the US in the last few years (2006 & 2007), mainly due to tighter pedigrees in some gerbils carrying more than one of the same ancestors from the mottled and extreme mottled lines which trace back to Piccasso. The increased spotting is the result of several generations of breeding these gerbils which have now spread widely throughout the AGS and non AGS breeders.

Since Tag's passing in 2008, Silver will became the new foundation sire of BWC's lines. He has exhibited many of Tag (his sire's) docile traits since he was born, and has now matured into a nice looking, still easy to handle adult. He has already sired several large colorpoint litters and will be paired next with Dallas this summer.

Chicago has a very nice symmetrical pattern, much like his father and mother both exhibit. Plans for this boy are to pass on the great tail tuft, variegated/roaned and symmetrical patterns in the mottling exhibited by both parents and son, and more qualities from his Championship relatives.

Zodi was adopted from a family who purchased some pet store gerbils in Springfield, MO, that ended up having two litters. His mother is believed to be a polar fox, and his dad was possibly a nutmeg.

Notes: Zodi was a WILD scared young gerbil up until he was nearly a year old. Age and becoming a father have greatly mellowed this guy out... Now he is very sociable, easy to handle and a GREAT dad. Zodi has placed well at two shows he has attended and has fathered two colorful BIG litters w/ his first mate Frosty. He has stamped several of his offspring w/ his classic spot pattern and great personality.
